The 3rd Jiangsu Artificial Intelligence Conference (JSAI2020) was held in Nanjing on December 30, 2012. The conference was guided by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Provincial Science and Technology Association, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the Provincial Department of Education, and hosted by the Jiangsu Artificial Intelligence Society, bringing together the academic and technological achievements, outstanding products, and industry applications in the field of artificial intelligence in Jiangsu Province. Big Vision won the Outstanding Artificial Intelligence Product Award in Jiangsu Province with its artificial intelligence ophthalmic optical coherence tomography scanner BV1000.
Based on advanced artificial intelligence, big data analysis technology and cloud platform, BV1000, the award-winning product of Big Vision, adopts optical coherence tomography technology to collect fundus images and provide comprehensive one-stop eye health management services for individual users. BV1000, as an artificial intelligence OCT with independent intellectual property rights, has obtained the registration certificate and manufacturing license of Class II medical device in August, which can effectively solve the pain points of complicated operation and reliance on professional physicians for film reading. The system can meet the screening and diagnosis needs of hundreds of millions of patients with eye diseases in China, and can be perfectly adapted to different scenarios such as optometry centers, medical examination centers and primary hospitals where ophthalmic medical resources are tight.
The selection was made up of a committee of top experts and scholars, leading entrepreneurs and industrial sector leaders from home and abroad, with the aim of implementing the “Implementation Opinions on the Development of New Generation Artificial Intelligence Industry in Jiangsu Province”, comprehensively showcasing Jiangsu’s academic and technological achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, and accelerating the integration of innovation and industrial development in the field of artificial intelligence in government, industry, academia, research, finance and use. We will continue to contribute to the promotion of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology, and to “detect every pair of eyes with problems early and give the best treatment plan”.
