Caring for community residents’ eye health, provincial CPPCC member and Zhigong Party member Chen Xinjian’s charity activity

The year 2020 is an extraordinary year, a year when the whole country is fighting against the epidemic and overcoming the difficulties together. Today, Chen Xinjian, a member of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), a member of the Zhigong Party, and the chairman of Big Vision, came to Shihu Community with a new generation of fully automatic artificial intelligence OCT BV1000, vision screeners and slit lamps to provide the residents of the community with intimate and comprehensive ophthalmic screening services.

The BV1000 is a fully automatic artificial intelligence OCT BV1000, which is independently developed by Big Vision in both software and hardware, and has obtained the registration certificate and production license of Class II medical devices in August this year. One resident said, “I’ve been to the hospital for a long time, and I’ve always had trouble with this, but it’s great that it takes just a moment.”

During the examination process, we can find that 80% of the elderly have more or less problems with their eye surface or fundus, and there is an urgent and huge demand for community eye screening at the grassroots level, while the BV1000 developed by Big Vision is simple to operate, and residents can view their eye examination data and AI-aided diagnosis report on their cell phones in about 2 minutes after the examination is completed through the Bright Lemon Eye Health Management System. It can effectively solve the problem of insufficient professional examiners and doctors in the community, and can perfectly adapt to community screening needs. The five consecutive years of public welfare screening also well reflects Chen Xinjian’s sense of responsibility and mission as a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and a member of the Zhi Gong Party.

Big Vision has been working in the field of ophthalmology for decades and has always taken “early detection of every pair of eyes with problems and the best treatment plan” as its mission. In the future, Big Vision will conduct more public welfare screenings to contribute to raising awareness and popularizing eye health-related knowledge.
