A 58-year-old citizen, Aunt Xu, has high myopia and recently felt discomfort in her eyes. She saw on the news about the Big Vision Medical Technology’s fully automated artificial intelligence OCT machine that can speak and automatically read images. She was very interested and immediately made a phone call to schedule an examination experience at Big Vision. Upon hearing Aunt Xu’s request, Dr. Chen Xinjian expressed a warm welcome and arranged a time for her to have the experience.
The entire experience process is exactly the same as what Aunt Xu saw in the news. By scanning the QR code with WeChat, she can save the fundus images and AI-assisted diagnosis results on her mobile phone.
AI-assisted diagnosis shows that Aunt Xu has a retinal tear, which is a common retinal condition in highly myopic patients. It is recommended that Aunt Xu seek medical attention at the hospital in a timely manner. Big Vision completed Series A financing.
The product “MIAS, an ophthalmic image storage and analysis system” obtained CFDA Class II medical device registration certificate.

Big Vision’s self-developed integrated software and hardware fully automatic artificial intelligence OCT (BV1000) made its debut at the industry exhibition.
Established a partnership with a national-level clinical trial center, and the core product MIAS was validated to reach the level of “chief physician” through large-scale clinical trials, marking the beginning of product commercialization.

Big Vision received the first prize of the “Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Invention Award,” the highest award in China’s intelligent science and technology field.
